MY PHILOSOPHY

Teamwork makes the dream work.

Would Rogers be Rogers without Hammerstein? Sherlock Holmes without Dr. Watson? Would human legs have touched the moon without a team working towards the same goal?

Collaboration is a fundamental part of creation. Why do everything alone when there are open minds and eager hearts offering a helping hand? My favorite contribution to a project is this mindset. My strength lies in facilitating conversation between brilliant, sometimes distinctly independent, minds. My strength lies in mediating and problem solving to accomplish the next step. I want to make people feel BIG, listened to, and appreciated.

In theatre, I’ve found I can realize these strengths in stage management. However, they are applicable to every project I’ve faced and, likely, every project to follow. When everyone is reminded that we want the same thing, success is easiest and most rewarding.
